About Tahoe Truckee Unified School District
Our district encompasses more than 720 square miles serving California's Nevada, Placer, and El Dorado counties. We are proud to have the lowest district-wide class size ratios in Placer County and serve just over 4,000 students in our 12 schools. To round out their educational experience, TTUSD provides scholars with a wide range of extracurricular activities including band, clubs and sports such as soccer, football, track, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, tennis, snowboarding, Nordic and Alpine skiing.
The District recognizes that the Tahoe Truckee region and our natural surroundings are precious and takes every learning opportunity possible to encourage environmental stewardship among its scholars.
