Purpose Statement
Family and personal factors outside of the classroom profoundly influence school success. The Community Liaison will work directly with students and their families to provide prevention and intervention services to prevent and/or address problems that may adversely affect a student's success. The Bilingual Translator-Interpreter will translate and produce a variety of general, technical, legal and medical documents, materials and scripts between English and Spanish for school and district office staff; provide simultaneous interpretations during formal presentations at school and district meetings; use interpretation equipment and computer software. This position will assist all school district personnel for translation communication with families and for other assigned duties.
